# Ingredient List:
→ Waffles
01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
03 - 1 tablespoon baking powder
04 - ½ teaspoon salt
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 1¾ cups whole milk
07 - ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
08 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
→ Syrup Dip
09 - ½ cup pure maple syrup
10 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
→ For Serving
11 - Optional: fresh berries
12 - Optional: whipped cream
13 - Optional: powdered sugar
# Directions:
01 - Preheat the waffle iron following the manufacturer's guidelines.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly distributed.
03 - In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with the whole milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined.
04 - Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined; some lumps remaining is acceptable to ensure light texture.
05 - Lightly grease the preheated waffle iron. Pour approximately ½ cup of batter onto the iron per waffle and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, until golden brown and crisp.
06 - Remove the cooked waffles and slice each waffle into four quarters.
07 - In a small saucepan over low heat, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Stir in the maple syrup and warm the mixture for about 2 minutes.
08 - Arrange the waffle quarters on a serving platter with the syrup dip in a bowl at the center. Accompany with optional fresh berries, whipped cream, or a dusting of powdered sugar as desired.
